EF-i · Anti-limescale

Limescale stops sticking. The water stays exactly the same.

EF-i goes in at the mains inlet and treats every drop of domestic water in the building: cold, hot, and every outlet fed from it.

The network it treats

An open network: water passes through once and leaves.

Domestic water comes in from the street, crosses the device and spreads out. That is why one EF-i is enough: everything downstream is treated, including whatever you have not installed yet.

Mains inletCylinderKitchenBathroomUtilityGardenEF-iat the inlet, after the meter

Open network: every litre crosses the device once, before it reaches any outlet.

One single device

No need for one per bathroom or one per appliance.

Cold and hot

The treatment travels with the water into the cylinder.

Minerals untouched

Calcium and magnesium are still in the glass.

Limescale, up close

It changes how limescale crystallises, not what the water carries.

Calcium carbonate can either anchor itself to surfaces or travel loose in the water. EF-i tips the balance towards the second, without removing or adding anything.

CaCO₃

The same compound

Before and after the device the water carries exactly the same minerals, in the same quantity.

Adherent

The scale that anchors

Untreated, it crystallises onto metal, enamel and heating elements, and builds up layer after layer.

In suspension

The scale that leaves

Treated, it stays as a fine powder that travels with the water and goes down the drain without gripping any surface.

70 °f

Up to very hard water

The working limit of the device covers the hardest water on the peninsula.

The water is not softened: it stops being scale-forming. That is the difference from a softener.

Where it goes

One point at the inlet. The whole installation behind it.

Move through the plan: the device sits where the water comes in, and the numbered points are what stops receiving scale-forming limescale.

The device, right after the meter

It is fitted into the straight run of the incoming main, before the first branch. From there it treats the entire flow, with no power supply and no compulsory bypass.

The device and what it protects

Order is what matters: anything downstream of the device is treated, whether it is fitted today or in ten years.

Select a point on the plan to read what part it plays in the installation.

Fitting it

A plumber fits it in under an hour.

There is no programming, no commissioning and no service contract behind it.

Shut off the water and open the line

Pick the straight run of the incoming main, right after the meter.

Fit the device the right way round

The arrow engraved on the body shows the direction of flow. That is the only thing to respect.

Open up and forget it

No settings, no consumables and no scheduled servicing for the whole life of the device.

Full fitting instructions come with the technical sheet for each model.

Against the alternatives

What a salt softener does on top.

Limescale treatments do not do the same thing, and they do not cost the same after five years.

What it does to the water

Changes how limescale crystallises. Composition untouched.
Strips calcium and magnesium out of the water.

What people ask before fitting it.

You know where it goes. The size is what is left.
